Empowering Preservation, Supporting Afghanistan
Sayed & Nadia Consultancy (SNC) is delighted to introduce our first online course on First Aid to Cultural Heritage, underlining our commitment to supporting Afghanistan through empowering Afghans both inside and outside the country for the preservation of cultural heritage. This initiative has been made possible through the generous financial support of the British Council's Cultural Protection Fund (BC-CPF), for which we are extremely grateful. Our sincere thanks also go to the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) for authoring the course’s books, "First Aid to Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis, Handbook and Toolkit." SNC translated these books into Afghan languages of Dari and Pashto as well, with special acknowledgment to BC-CPF and the Aliph Foundation for their support in this undertaking.
This course is designed to empower individuals, communities and cultural heritage professionals with basic knowledge and skills needed to respond to emergencies that may threaten cultural artifacts, historical sites, and precious cultural resources and to undertake the protection, preservation and early recovery of cultural heritage effectively.
